After the repairs, carried out by our Company, the steering unit is fully comparable with the newly made one, and, accordingly, if properly run, it can operate at a long date. We base this claim on our technology, which secures no constructive alterations are made to the unit. All the wearing parts are to be either replaced by original spare parts in the process of repair works, or restored (primarily, the shafts, which are being renewed up to the nominal size). In the course of repairs the special tools are used. It helps to avoid the mechanical damage to the stuffing-box seats and bearings in the steering unit case.

Work capacity of the unit repaired by our Company is guaranteed for the term of six months from the date of sale, regardless of the run. We confirm our guarantees by the Warranty voucher, which carries the Company's seal. Upon the warranty term expiration we provide the post-guarantee service and support.

The warranty is discontinued in case of:

  1. Mechanical damages (thread and groove junctions, corbels, damages at mutual travel of shafts, bends, chips etc.)
  2. Impermeability breaches in control-rod dust guards (presence of water, sand, mud underneath).
  3. Corrosion of shafts.
  4. The use of:
    • Hydraulic liquid, which does not correspond to the recommendations of the car maker.
    • Hydraulic liquid, which contains touches of sand (as a result of untidy repair works of the hydraulic booster system) and wear debris of the hydraulic booster units.
    • Untimely replacement of the hydraulic liquid (dark, muddy liquid)
  5. Damaged units, which are kinematically connected with the steering rack (control-rods, ends, power shafts etc.).
  6. Malfunctions caused by the actions of third persons or force-majeure circumstances (fire, flood, etc.).

On purchase or receiving the unit from repairs, it should be carefully examined by the customer in order to check up all the visible damages, cleanness of the visible part of the steering guide surface, possible defects of the threaded joints.

The most common cause of the steering unit malfunctions is the corrosion of shafts. It is a consequence of the permeability breaches in control-rod dust guards and, accordingly, ingress of moisture. As the operating temperature of the steering unit is within 50 - 110 Co, the polished surface of the shaft corrodes quite fast (we have records of some cases when the shafts failed even in 10 days of operations).

In operational process of the car, the transversal shocks against the front axle should be avoided. Even the slightest shock against the curb while parking the car can lead to malfunction of the steering unit (bend of the horizontal shaft).

The warranty does not cove r the control-rod dust guards and chassis parts installed during the repairs of the steering control units.

The long-term operation of the hydraulic unit upon the high-pressure pump failure (pressure fall) is inadmissible. It inevitably will lead to breakdown.
